Each customized tour last 2-3 hours with the aim of
immersing visitors
in township life and introducing people
to our customs and traditions.
You will be picked up from your establishment or
place of accommodation
by a Minibus taxi, driven by one of
Charlotte's friends. African music sets
the pace for the
journey.

(You will meet people from Herero, Damara, Owambo and

(the current TB Clinic used to be the hospital and HIV
counseling use to
be the mortuary, the DRC etc)

(The Beautiful Herero dresses with there many layers
and a three-cornered
head-dress to name but one)

See a demonstration of mahango preparation
(First sifted and then pounded by wooden blocks,
then sifted through the
oshililo ...)

Taste some traditional Oshiwambo food and drink
(Eat some Mopany worms and drink some Oshikundu made
by soaking
Mahango overnight)

(Watch children dancing to the rhythm of drums,
